This is a 1988 DX Civic that was built for HPDE track days. The project started 10 years ago when I took my totaled 1989 SI and transferred everything to the lighter undamaged 88 DX shell, including the welded-in drivers dead pedal in the drivers footwell that is specific to the SI model, along with the SI carpet.
