The 1990 Corvette ZR-1 was the "King of the Hill" in its time. Faster than just about any Ferrari, the Porsche 911 Turbo, and Lamborghini. At the time it had the widest tires in a production vehicle at 315/35ZR17 at the rear. This caused Chevrolet to widen the rear of the ZR-1 by 6 inches.
