It is geared for maximum speed of 50MPH. The FJ40's original owner used it on his property on Tinker's Creek in Valley View, Oh (all farms, ranches and very few paved roads back then) until he sold it in '99 to a neighbor on Stone Rd., who converted it to the fiberglass tub w/ a Kayline roof (I still have the manual) and either ran out of time/money or both so it sat until I purchased it August of '21 (I also live in Valley View).
