I purchased this boat from a friend. He bought it to rebuild the engine and use as a charter boat. He decided to sell it when he found out that the boat can't have a bracket / outboard. The transom and keel don't lend themselves to that arrangement. I understand that a diesel mechanic started it when it was originally purchased. However, you have to understand that you may need a new or rebuilt diesel. The boats are widely used in the great lakes because they are very seaworthy, draws only 2.5' ...
