The check engine comes on for a knock sensor fault which puts it into limp mode to protect the engine. I don't have any interest in spending more money on this Toyota when I must maintain my other Toyotas. The V6 3.0 liter makes it a powerful little beast perfect for towing yet staying maneuverable enough for off-roading, being a work truck, or for the hunt camp.
