The OEM battery location down on the lower frame on the Sportsman 450/570 is horrible. Not only is it very hard to reach for charging or maintenance but it is totally vulnerable to being swamped in water and mud. It's also very close to the prop shaft which could damage it. It's almost like Polaris forgot about the battery when designing this chassis and then found the only place they could put it.Leave it up to us to solve another Polaris blunder!
